This two-day Grand Canyon rafting trip isn’t for everyone! But we love this Grand Canyon whitewater trip because it gives us the rare opportunity to paddle the Colorado River. It’s a physical adventure with a magnificent night camping under the stars in the Grand Canyon. And we still have limited availability in August and several open spaces in September and October (avoid the heat and the crowds!).
You will travel downriver with Native guides and discover the rich traditions of the Hualapai people through their own stories. Experience the real Colorado River by actively participating in running rapids in a paddle boat, before hopping into a motor boat for an opportunity to relax and take in the scenic views. Rafting the Grand Canyon allows you to slow down and embrace the change of scenery, routine, and pace of life – we call this “river time.”
Paddling in Grand Canyon is fun, but it is a lot of work and passengers must be prepared to paddle through the elements and the possibility of taking a swim if the raft should flip. To get a feel for what it’s like, check out the video here.
There are still spaces open this 2019 rafting season till the end of October or you can book your trip for 2020 anytime March - October.
