Arrival into Auckland, where you can relax and unwind from your flight. The outfitter will offer a sailing trip in the afternoon and then a relaxed dinner together.
You will depart early for your flight up to Kerikeri. Here, you’ll be met by your transfer and taken on a fascinating visit to Waitangi, the birthplace of modern New Zealand. The afternoon sees everyone head out for the next 20 hours on “The Rock” a wonderful way to experience the Bay Of Islands.
After waking up on The Rock, you’ll go for a hike, and try and catch some fresh fish, before arriving back in Paihia. Late afternoon, you’ll have at leisure, or perhaps you might like to take a scenic flight out by helicopter to ‘The Hole In The Rock’. Dinner will be at the superb Alongside restaurant.
Your flight today, takes the group to Wellington, the capitol of New Zealand. You will get the chance to visit Te Papa, New Zealand’s premier museum with ancient artifacts. Afternoon to explore on your own, where you may want to relax on the waterfront or take a ride on the Cable Car for expansive views over this gorgeous city.
Today you will jump on the Interisland Ferry to Picton in the South Island. From here, you’ll travel to see Blenheim, the wine growing capitol of New Zealand for a vineyards tour and a relaxed lunch. During the afternoon, you will be shuttled to Kaikoura and eat the best fish and chips in New Zealand on the beach!
Options this morning include swimming with dolphins or whale watching. What a choice? Then you are off through Christchurch and onto Mt Cook where you will stay in authentic shearer’s quarters at Braemar Station. Enjoy absolutely spectacular views of the lake and mountains, including Mt Cook itself.
Queenstown or Bust! Let’s get in there, the adventure capital of the world. This is where it all started! This afternoon you will take a ride on Shotover Jet and then up to Skyline Restaurant for the last night for the half trip people.
Today you will have a magic flight over to Milford Sound, with stunning views en route. Then you will take a cruise around the stunning Milford Sound by boat before heading back to Queenstown and your evening meal via steamer at Walter Peak Station.
After a brief stop in the old goldmining village of Arrowtown you will drive through Wanaka on the way to Clarks Bluff for a scenic flight into the Landborough River by helicopter. You’ll get to the river in time to relax in stunning surroundings where you’ll get a 4-course meal!
Let’s go rafting! This gorgeous river is framed by the spectacular Southern Alps. You will get to raft a river few people ever get to see. A few big rapids on the menu today including HellFire!
Today, you will raft out to the confluence with the Haast River and drive up to Fox Glacier where you will overnight.
The treat today is a half day walk up Fox Glacier with your guides. For the more adventurous amongst you, here is one of the best places in New Zealand to Skydive. You will travel the gorgeous West Coast Road reaching your home for the night in Hokitika, a classic West Coast town.
A half day of travel up to Motueka. You will arrive in Marahau where you don your life jackets and go paddling in the wonderful Abel Tasman National Park. Tonight, you will camp overnight.
A full day exploring the wonderful and clear waters of Abel Tasman with all its secrets.
A couple of options for your final day of adventure. A hike back to Marahau or a day canyoning out via the Torrent River. Tonight, you will have your final night together on this wonderful adventure.
Depart from Marahau to Nelson and onward to Auckland and your connecting flight home.

This adventure begins in Auckland, New Zealand where you will have time to relax or explore the city before setting off for an afternoon sailing trip to try your hand at fishing.
On your last day of adventure, you will have the option to kayak or hike to Marahau or (for an additional cost) spend the day canyoning out via the Torrent River before your final night’s stay and shuttle the next morning to Nelson Airport for your trip home.
All lodging and meals after the start of the trip, all camping and river-related safety equipment, any necessary equipment for your adventures, and all transportation (including to/from the airport).
February and March are the beginning of autumn in New Zealand, but the weather remains warm with temperatures between 65-75°F. Rainfall for this time of year is minimal to moderate depending on the part of the country you are visiting. You should expect to see a little rainfall on your trip, along with plenty of sunny days.
Group size is usually 8-12 people and are purposely kept small so that you are able to connect with your guide, fellow passengers, and the landscape.
